Since an early age Liz has always had a love for horses moving up through the ranks of pony club to compete in EFA eventing and dressage. It was when competing at a higher level that one of her instructors said “ You know what your problem is? You really love that horse don’t you?” That she realised her dream wasn’t actually to become a professional rider, it was to help horses.
After completing an honors degree in animal science specialising in horses Liz has completed her Masters in human physiotherapy studies. Following this she has completed equine and canine physiotherapy courses, her Equestrian Federation of Australia level 1 instructor’s qualification as well as post graduate courses in western acupuncture and dry needling, human pelvic biomechanics and pilates. Liz is an active member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and regularly attends ongoing professional development courses to stay up to day with the latest research in both animal and human physiotherapy.
